How to get from Charleston to Myrtle Beach?
My significant other and I are flying into Charleston next week. We plan to stay a night in town, and then will be joining family in Myrtle Beach the next day.
We need to get from Charleston to Myrtle Beach sometime on Saturday. Does anyone know of bus services, airport shuttles, etc. that might run between the two airports or other parts of the cities?
Thanks!

depending on your hotel, they may have an airport shuttle for you as well as shuttle service to downtown Charleston.
Hope you enjoy your trip !

I'd recommend renting a car. That'll get you here in under 2 hrs, plus it'll allow you a bit more independence for touring the area all day and night.

@chromekitty - we were thinking of staying in the hostel, so I doubt there'll be a shuttle, but thanks!
Anyone have car rental recommendations?

we always use enterprise rent a car. They treat us well.
There is an Enterprise office in Charleston on Meeting Street I believe.
What State are you currently in?

Nothing wrong with trees, Thomas.
Actually, you can stop off at Bulls Bay on the way up. There is an interactive wildlife center there.
You can also stop in McClellanville. It is a very quaint fishing and shrimping village. You might even find something good to eat.

I don't have time for stops I am going for work, people who can take time to sight see could use that info though......
I usually stop at the Bulls Bay General Store for snacks and to use the facilities on the way up.....

See Wee Restaurant is a good place to stop too, just north of Mount Pleasant in Awendaw. Not expensive and good ol' home cooking.
