I am 30 and want to move to Charleston b/c of the beach, charm, etc. My parents say I am better off in Charlotte and more likely to meet my hubby there...opinions?

And, yes, I am 30 and STILL trying to please my parents.

You have to be nuts to even consider Charlotte over Charleston! There are plenty of young southern gentlemen here that you can meet!

what I can offer to you is this:

I am a Charlotte native, 37 years born and bred. This place is going no where fast.
DH and I are working diligently to move to Charleston.

just moved from Charlotte 3.5 years ago and absolutely love it here...its paradise. Charlotte isnt bad but its nothing like Charleston
