Default Moving to Charleston please help!

Hello!

I am trying to move to Charleston next year. with my husband & 1 year old daughter. I don't know to much about the area so I'm not to sure what parts to look at. We are planning this move in 11 months so we have so time to find out just where we should go. We are looking for a nice friendly area to raise out children. My husband will be working in Charleston so a town not to far from there would be great. Even 30 mins away would be OK. I would really LOVE any help anyone could give me on the "good" & "bad" parts of Charleston. Any advice you have on any thing about SC would be great!

Thank you so very much!
Catie

p.s.
we are coming from Boston! So its far. Thanks again!

Great family enviroments are all over! It really depends a lot on your budget for housing, are you renting or buying? how close to the beach is important to you? Think Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Summerville, James Island to start.
