Hello out there....
I am living outside of Charleston at the moment & plan on moving to Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area; I have intellectual interests like local history, art, theatre, and just meeting smart people; do I need to join a local charity to do this?; what suggestions do you have for me.
I aim to meet and have life long friendships. Charleston means alot to me; I wouldn't mind living on Sullivan's Island. People are friendly here; I have no problem talking, I would just like some ideas e.g. museums, events, etc.
I have also thought it would be lovely to rent part of one of the mansions downtown; from a person who would not mind a friendly, responsible professional in part of their home. I love architecture; my family long ago lived on King Street; I never tire of the doors and windows, porches and gardens. It's like heaven.
I love the pulse of the city; I like the idea of walking to the stores, the resteraunts and meeting friends and sharing ideas; oh, I must sound like a nerd; I love creative people who write...or theatre people. I work alot & enjoy the idea of unwinding; I also love the water, cruises......
Tell me what you think about this. Thanks.
