Okay -- I sound like I'm selling Watermark -- NOT. Just I've been around that area a bit this last year.

Watermark is in Mount Pleasant. Also try The Legends at Charleston National In Mount Pleasant. They also have garages.

We lived in the legends in MT P. till we bought a house. The garages are really nice. You can get one attached if you live on the ground. If you are on the second story you can get a detached one on the same building which is nice also. Also the prices for the legends were really affordable.

Do you need a garage as just a protected place to park a car, or a private one for other types of storage? Some of the condo complexes we looked at had a ground floor for parking below the units. Would that wok for you?

Hey Automated,

We own a Harley Davidson Motorcycle, so we are looking for a garage so that we can keep her under shelter. DH just commented after reading your post that parking below would work also. Would you share the names of those places?

We are coming down early next month and are getting a list of potential places together so we can begin to really narrow down our list.

Thanks!

The Regetta on James Island has parking, just not sure how much extra you have to pay for it.

AFAIK, many townhouse-style complexes have sheltered parking available for people in your situation. If you went through the websites complex by complex, you could probably come up with big list of options...

Oh, btw I'm totally jealous, thinking of getting a bike if we like it down there and wind up staying for a few years.
