We are moving to the area in 2 weeks and are in need of a good pediatric dentist for my children. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

I just went to Dr Beavers, insert joke here, on Trolley road. He had a couple of kids in ahead of me and they seemed ok with the visit...

Leave it to Beaver! LOL We've been going to "The Beav" for 6 years now. The staff is so friendly, it's almost like visiting family. (we go every six months for routine cleanings.) I see children there all the time and Dr. Beaver and his staff are very good with them and the chicken adults like me! Plus the office is very nice and homey too and every chair has a flat screen & a massager (which I like).

Great info. My son just had his first shallow cavity. I hope to have sealants done when we arrive. He will totally dig the flat screen

They are not huge flat screens, more like large computer monitors....

That's for the newbies, the long time clients get a special room with a 60" wide screen.

I know this is an older post, but as someone may do a search like I did, I wanted to post my recommendation for a pediatric dentist in Summerville. We just moved to the area and went to Summerville Pediatric Dentistry on W 5th North. Dr. Bryant is who we saw. She was fantastic! She did the cleaning on my 3 year old and 9 month old. (Kids under 1 year old get a free cleaning.) She and her staff were very kind and patient. The office atmosphere was also very welcoming, with mural-sized photos of alligators and marshes, and painted on cartoons of monkeys, snakes, frogs, butterflies, dragonflies, etc. There are huge windows looking over a wooded area with bird feeders and whirlygigs to make you feel like you're outside. There were 4 or 5 chairs in one large area together, and I saw at least one private room (probably for more extensive dental work). Kids were given an item from the treasure box before we left. They did not have TVs on the ceiling, but did have mirrors on the lights. All the staff used kid-friendly terminology (the light was a "big flashlight", etc.). We will definitely be back!
