we are aware of how things work with the police department, as we have two family members who are officers up north.
and i am not doubting if the cop felt threatened or thought shooting was the best option to ensure the safety of those around him. no judgements form me as i am sure it was a scary, nervewrecking situation for the officer. but i am just wondering why he began firing a second time after the second unmarked cop approached after already firing like 4 shots at her. i mean before the second round of shot passed several second. did she have a weapon she then pulled on him? was 4 shots not enough to stop her from advancing on him? something just doesn't make sense.
scary situation, i feel badly for the cop, for the woman, for the witnesses who had to see such a thing in broad daylight at a busy intersection...and especially the children in the cars near bye who watched a police officer fire a weapon into someone's car.
If several seconds passed like you said, then you have answered your own question. She did not comply with what she was told to do. She paid the consequences.
Officers are trained to stop the aggressive action. By not complying she was aggressive. While you may have been in close proximity, you couldn't see in the car to see what was being done or said. It makes perfect sense what happened.
yes. she could have. which is the main reason we wanted to get the heck out of there. at the time, we had no idea who was in the car or what was going to begin happening!
no..the tires were shot before he aimed and shot into the car two seperate time. the tires were shot just as we got to the light, this is the first sound my husband heard and what drew our attention to the officer and not hte cop car blocking the lane of traffic.
Ok, didn't want you to think I was wishy washy or a flip flopper.....
Someone once told me that I should have been a cop, I told him I wouldn't make it, I would have too high of a body count....
