Halfway between Bonneau and Charleston?
I am interested in a job out in Bonneau but would be going to school in Charleston.
What is a good in between place to live?
Any neighborhoods you might recommend?
As a college student I can't afford anything too pricey and I am interested in renting or buying.
Thanks for your help!!

Goose Creek or Monck's Corner would be the best bet. You can find plenty of reasonable stuff in both towns.

Okay! Thanks!
Are there "bad" areas in Goose Creek?

Personally, I'd avoid the older sections of Goose Creek, and concentrate on Hwy 176 from Crowfield out to Hwy 17A. The areas like Boulder Bluff and Sedgefield have seen their better years. I wouldn't look at anything around GC High. Personal opinions, but I've been around the area for many years.

Thanks!! I will definitely keep that in mind!
We have been looking at older areas to buy in simply because that is what we can afford.
We can't be too picky considering our price range but we certainly don't want our lives to be threatened
Any other ideas? What about Ladson and Hanahan?
I think we are going to look in Goose Creek mostly but any other ideas are helpful! Or if you happen to see any 'for sale' signs as you drive through a neighborhood..

That's the way we like it. Unfortunately it's growing.
