Post Retiring in Summerville

My wife and I are seriously looking into relocating to Summerville after hearing nothing but positive things from my stepson who lived there. Could anybody suggest the names of some good housing areas for retirees? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

My grandmother, 81, has just retired in the Miler Country Club and LOVES it. Old golf course community close to town. Moderately priced homes, reasonably priced tennis/golf/pool, and near everything. Several other great communities with similar ammenities but they are closer to N. Charleston and not close to the hear of Summerville.

Hope that helps. Email me if you have any specific questions about the area . . . I've been here my entire life. Enjoy your journey.
