Default moving to south carolina please help

I am a 23 year old female and I have lived in northwest ohio my whole life. I am a hairstylist and am in the process of getting my south carolina license. I am moving right after christmas and living with family friends in moncks corner until I find a decent place for myself. Any kind of advice would be wonderful. From making that first big move by yourself, to good salons to work in, to nice places to live in in summerville(which is where I want to be after a few weeks of being down there) thanks in advance kara

If you like cutting mens hair I would look into Gent's BarberSpa in downtown Charleston. I go there and love it. They are looking for stylists and you could make pretty good money there.
