Default Apples?

Anyone know where you can get a variety of fresh SC or NC apples locally? I would imagine someone offers them, but so far we haven't been able to find a stand that sells them!

This is a good list of the different u-pick farms in SC. The only areas that were listed for apples are in York County, Spartanburg County, Oconee County, & Greenville County.

Where to find pick your own farms and orchards in South Carolina for fruit, vegetables, pumpkins and Christmas trees.

I just got back (last Sunday) from spending 5 days in NC and SWVA where I went apple picking at two different orchards. Brought back bags of apples for several friends who knew I was going. I don't know of any local places South of Columbia, but we usually just go up ourselves or give some money to someone else who is going up.
Did you try Earth Fare or Whole Foods.....or maybe some of the local fruits and vegetable stands? We have 2 here on Johns Island, but I don't know if they have brought down some NC apples. It seems like they would, just like they do with Christmas trees.

Only places to pick apples in SC are in the upstate, not sure if any places around here carry SC apples though.....

Check some of the fresh food markets and places like whole foods.
