Hi! The Greenbax do; in all actuality, cost you $$ because their prices are higher than most of the grocery stores around...yet they are convenient if you want to get something before they close ~midnight...I've see people wearing their pajamas when I've been in there at the last minute...I'm a bit guilty myself!

RX, I don't know what Pig you shop at, but MrK's up here in Summerville has about the best prices in town excluding Walmart....

I have to agree about the Pig's prices being a bit higher....but then ours on Johns Island caters to the tourist crowd on their way to and from Kiawah and Seabrook so they jack their prices up for them. I still like to shop there though......

I think this must be the fair that my 4yr. old grand-daughter went to on Sunday and had a great time. I guess the rides were good. She hadn't been to a fair with rides since she left upstate New York where we have field days and county fairs all summer. Seems like they don't do that there, but I could be mistaken. The only gripe was that her Uncle and Aunt, that went with her too, that there wasn't any beer. But if they usually have problems there then I can see why they don't serve alcohol.

No, I shop at the one at the corner of Maybank Hwy. and Bohicket Road (aka Main Rd.)....which is high, but not as high at Freshfields. I love shopping at Freshfields once in awhile, esp. in the summer. It makes for a fun girls' day out for lunch, wine, shopping, music on the green......

I found the Pig in Mount Pleasant to be expensive. My husband says it is not bad though.
I have a sentimental attachment to the Pig. When we lived in Bermuda it was the only grocery store on the island. Love that Pig.
