Just wanted to say, I lived there 33 years ago. Love it there and I think I left my heart there. Beaufort to me was beautiful. The food was wonderful no matter where I went. Sure do miss The Sandwich Bag! The beach everything about it. The only place i brought my food besides the base was Winn Dixie which was very big and clean. Oh and Mom Miller Store. The Yankee Bar some great food too. Here i go thinking of yesterday's. Beaufort County your number one in my eyes. I live in Minnesota,but my heart with you.
