Well, we finally sold our house (here in NJ). We sign the paperwork tomorrrow. But the buyers want to close within 45 days. I'm not sure that's enough time to find a home in the Summerville area so I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about finding rentals? We'd be interested in something month-to-month.
Thanks in advance! Gina |

Some real estate agencies also deal in rentals. You may want to check with them. Good luck!

Hi.,Just got back from visiting Summerville and what a beautiful country that is..I'm looking into renting a home in Summerville but was only able to find one real estate office of Miller's Properties that has any listings..Do you know the best way to find homes to rent in this area? I also wonder if since HWY 61 is the only way in and out of Summerville how is the local traffic there during rush hours? What time would be best to avoid these delays? Many thanks,

Summerville is also accessible via I26. Highway 61 is quite heavily traveled. I recently sold a home directly on 61 - not in a neighborhood but on the actual highway and traffic was horrible. That's the number one reason we sold the house. Neighborhoods off of 61 are a bit better because you are sheltered from the noise. Traffic was heaviest around 5:00 in the evening. The rest of the day could also be heavy - especially with large trucks. And be warned - it's a favorite road of motorcyclists. Sunday mornings are very heavy in motorcycle traffic which makes it very loud if you live close to the highway. The neighborhoods closer to West Ashley on 61 are most bothered by the traffic, I think. I think it may thin out as you approach the Summerville neighborhoods of Legend Oaks, etc. Hope this helps. It's a beautiful highway but may change with road expansions, new schools, etc.

YSS - at one time we had a rental house listed with Agent Owned Realty. Maybe they can be of some assistance?
