I've read that the Airforce Base Project will be a like small town by itself, with its own shopping district etc. Supposed to be real nice. Here's a link I've found for the project: Withers Preserve-Market Common-Myrtle Beach,SC-Master Planned Community on the old Air Force Base

For what you're asking for, in the price range you want, I'd look more at Myrtle Beach than Charleston.

A word to the wise, however, do your homework and get insurance costs, HOA dues, ANTICIPATED special assessments, current minutes, current budget, and, most importantly a copy of the Master Deed & By-Laws (and Rules-Regs) to review BEFORE you make an offer...

Superb advice. Thanks. I notice a lot. A LOT of condos for sale in such a small area. This makes me wonder.

Due diligence is the way to go.

Exclamation Lots of condos for sale

V65Magnafan:

The huge amount of condos on the market are a DIRECT result of the soaring market of 2005 where EVERYONE became an 'investor' or a 'developer'. Unfortunately, the fact is this..

That last person who bought the unit prior to the market downturn will not have to either sit on it for a while to recoup their money OR sell at a LOSS which will benefit YOU in your purchase..

BTW, I ride as well. '03 Road Star Warrior.. Have a peek at RSWarrior.com That Magna is a sharp ride as well..
