They are only employees, like most of you (us). If anyone experiences difficulties with employees of ANY company, all you have to do is contact that persons supervisor. The problem will be addressed. If it isn't, start working your way up the pecking order.

Postal employees do not make overtime. The only get paid for their 2080...unless this has changed.

Here's a story of how postal service should work...for all those who think these folks are just lazy bums getting by on the government dole: A friend of mine once had a letter addressed, "John X. Doe, 3 1/2 miles down Seven Mile Road." Of course that letter got delivered. I myself have had letters addressed, "John X. Doe, Rural Route 2, Anywhere USA." As long as there was only one person on that route with that name, the letter got delivered.

Good postal carriers go out of their way to deliver the mail as intended. Good post masters see to it that this happens.

It will all be shut down in our lifetimes. 30 years from now, the kids will be asking why email comes to a "mailbox". What's a mailbox? You mean somebody actually DROVE around the neighborhood handing out paper letters?

stop whining, their bored with less stuff to deliver. choose your battles wisely.

HEY, WAKE UP! WAKE THE FIRETRUCK UP! all i hear is i don't need mail service, i do everything on line (ball shot), they (the USPS) should down size or die. most of us grew up with the USPS, and it worked fine until now. why? THEY DON'T HAVE A PRODUCT TO SEND. Send it back NOW (sib now).
it's simple. and it free for us. send the junk mail, credit card crapp, and all other stuff - back to where it came from.
you all cry about rates and stupid stuff. Just send it back. free postage for us and $$ for the USPS. if my idea sucks, tell me or help to fix it. if you cut newspaper ads just right it will fit in their free envelopes just fine and the USPS workers have a product to deliver - that's what they need.

let's give the postal workers more work. everybody gets junk mail and/or magazines. let's say you get a pre-approved something, which you didn't want or ask for. in the pre-something stuff there's a "NO POSTAGE NECESSARY IF MAILED IN THE UNITED STATES" envelope. now take their stuff (remove your name if you want, i don't) and put it all back in their "POSTAGE WILL BE PAID BY ADDRESSEE" envelope - this is where i put other junk mail in. just stuff that puppy.
now the ones who sent you their stuff has to pay USPS to get their stuff back and more. look, we all get these thing - now it's time to have fun and send it back. 5 days a week delivery, fine.
LET'S FILL THOSE BLUE BOXES - with paper.
let this be a start - i've got more fun stuff. just let me know.
i'm unemployed so are a bunch of you.
Please give the USPS a bunch of stuff to send back, to the others.
nite

here's another solution to the problem, so USPS has more stuff to deliver.
JUST DO IT! IT'S FREE FOR US TOO.
we all get the wrong mail sometimes - so what.

if anyone gets magazines through the mail - have you noticed, there are as many as 6 or more postage paid subscription request post cards. many mags will even send you and invitation to try the mag for free and if you don't like it you can just send the bill back to them with "please cancel" across the bill. then take any envelope and tape another postage paid card onto the front of the envelope and mail it back. - for free. it'll take about 3-4 months before the mags stop. this then can be repeated( you might have changed your mind). i've even received mags i never ordered (i think somebody doesn't like me), along with books and records which i'll return with their free postage label. sometimes if you get two labels, and it's happened - send then a small box of rocks and tell them to stop sending their stuff you didn't order. the USPS needs more stuff to deliver - we can help.

one bird in the bush is food for the keepers cat, or something like that. I RHYMED.

sorry wrong one, IF YOU'RE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM, or something like that.

just give the USPS more stuff to send.
