We have not yet decided between moving to Summerville & Mt. Pleasant. We want an older home with lots of trees. Does anyone have suggestions on older neighborhoods with lots of charm and character? Good reputation. PRice range is $350000-$425,000. I am touring the area in a couple of weeks and want to research these areas before I tour them. Thanks for all of your help.

I forgot to add that I dont want a major flood zone. Minimal flood insurance is best, of course!

There are home in some of these neighborhoods that may be in a higher flood zone but I believe they will be above the price range your looking. Yes they are nice desirable neighborhoods. It jsut depends on what your looking for in a neighborhood. The older neighborhoods have little or no amenities. The newer neighborhoods have much more.

Park West is getting almost 10 years old now so I don't consider it new but newer compared to Snee Farm.
