Already purchased our house, moving in this week, we used USCJoe as our realtor, so sorry no need now for a realtor.
But please feel free to send me via PM, any contacts you have for fellow Turkish residents. My wife, Sule, came here from Istanbul to attend UCONN about 16 years ago and while there is a large Turkish community here in Brooklyn, NY. My wife would like to reach out to any in Charleston. My wife speaks to our son in Turkish, when she remembers. But it would be great if he can hear it from others in their accent etc. and in conversations with Mommy

You will love the Downtown Architecture, the festivals, restuarants, etc, it is a very vibrant city with beautiful beaches too.
One of my long time friends married a girl from Turkey, Zuhal, and I can put you in touch with her as she has several Turkish friends that I have met.
As for Religion, Charleston is known as the Holy City with beautiful Churches of all faiths coming together. I have never seen any racism or ill behavior or anything that would suggest anything other than harmony.
If you need a good Realtor let me know, feel free to send me a private message, thanks and either way Welcome to our Beautiful City !!

I just passed on your posting to my wife who sent you a PM (private message) with her contact information. Though could have written it here as it was in Turkish so no one else could read it anyway
If you care to look over my posting about Charleston, in case it might give you some insight to the area, specifically Mount Pleasant where we are, please do.

Yeah, but we're nosey, and Babelfish is pretty accurate.

Yeah, but we're nosey, and Babelfish is pretty accurate.
Babelfish does not translate Turkish... but still not taking chances
To 'fill you in' we actually met this afternoon, us and them and we all hit it off and it all went very well.
They were actually here in Town Center staying for a week... but were leaving the very next day we saw their post. Quickly wrote to them and they called us and they came over our home and we hung out and talked. OK... English for me, which they are fluent in
They actually were flying back the very next day so glad we met.
Moving back in January.. so a nice start.
