Default Commute Question from West Ashley to Beaufort

Is it durable for me to live in West Ashley and commute to Seabrook in Beaufort County? (not Seabrook Island, SC)

How is the traffic going from 17 South in West Ashley up to Beaufort County?

Or is it better to just move to Beaufort?

"Down" to Beaufort County.

Not sure where you are in West Ashley, but the trip is going to take you just over 1 hour. I've never seen bad traffic, but I have never going during any real rush hour. It really comes down to how bad you want to live in Charleston. If it doesn't matter to you, then check out Beaufort. It's a lovely area down there.

Not sure about the drive during rush hour either, but watch your speed when you get to Beaufort County. They are dead serious about speeding there. If you commute from somewhere around Bee's Ferry Rd., it should take you no more than hour. I have made it from Summerville going from Ashley Ridge H.S. on 165 to Beaufort H.S. in about an hour.
