We love to go out for brunch on Sunday (or Saturday, if they have it) and like to try new places. We often work on Sunday afternoon, so while there are a ton of places we eventually want to try/go back to in the Charleston area, often we need to stick closer to Summerville.

We've been to Montreux Bar & Grill, Farringdon's Bistropub, and Sweetwater Cafe so far. I've seen advertisements for brunch at O'Charley's and Ruby Tuesday, but haven't tried those yet (and there's always IHOP). We prefer local places though.

Any other recommendations? We haven't lived here long and I know there are several parts of Summerville we've barely had a chance to explore yet.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

We have not actually had a chance to go to Oscar's yet. I wish they were open for Sunday brunch! I think they have brunch on Saturday though, maybe we'll check it out soon.

We did try some of their food at the Taste of Summerville festival and loved it, and had every intention of trying it soon after that.

Yes Oscar's is still open, not sure if they offer the Sunday brunch.....

It is getting mixed reviews since they had a change of staff in the kitchen....
