Hi everyone....still thinking about moving to Summerville in July with my two teenage girls. One will be a freshman and the other a senior. I have been doing some research on Summerville High School....which is the High School in the area where we found a home. I am very concerned about the size of the school and how they help the kids...especially the new freshman find their way around. Our HS has approx. 1,500 kids...where SHS has over 3,000. Do the kids seem to adjust well....is it chaotic between classes? I'm just worried about how my girls will adjust not only to a new home....new state...but a new school as well. Thanks!!!

I'd recommend contacting the school itself and speaking with administration/faculty/guidance personnel with regard to your concerns. In fact, I'd recommend touring the school on your scouting trip down before they break for summer, to make certain that your girls will be comfortable there.
