I am having a really hard time finding rental propertites in Mount Pleasant .Are there any? Any help would be great

There are house rentals listed on Craigslist.

There are plenty of homes for rent in Mt. Pleasant. In addition to Craigs list you can search for rentals on many Realtor web sites as well as on the local newspaper site at Charleston, SC Breaking News, Weather, Business, and Sports | Charleston.Net

Would you feel ok about renting a homefor like 6 months -a year in a nice subdivision like park west or lengend oaks or even daniel island...BUT doing it sight unseen????

There are rentals in Mt. Pleasant, just not as many as it seems there are in other parts of the city. Here is imo the best reference by far for rental properties.

Rentals - Charleston MLS

It shows all MLS listings and is very customizable. To pick more than one part of the city just hold CTRL while selecting areas on the right-hand side.

As an example, my girlfriend and I just signed a lease for a 3 bedroom house with a huge backyard in the Old Village 5 minutes from the beach for $1000/month. Although I'd rather be buying, that has to wait a couple years, but for the money, this was one of the best locations I saw while looking at similar priced/sized rentals throughout the city.

u can also go to Charlestons prudential website, they have a rental section w/ quite a few rentals too.
charlestonrealestateguide I believe is the link, click on the mls stuff and rentals will come up. Other than that, I found that craigslist and the charleston newspaper are about the only other ways to find them, other than word of mouth.
