Dodeline is on a distinguished road
Ok thanks everyone! As snapdragon said, I heard that a lot of students live in those areas. Just a little bit north of Cannon seems to be an area where many of them bought a place, so I figure it can't be too bad. I can't go and check it out in person now, but I will as soon as possible.

Snapdragon was referring to a little North of Calhoun, not Cannon. Big Difference.

Dodeline- Cannon Street and around it is NOT safe. Drug deals, rapes, and shootings- thats the NORM.

You are confusing it with CALHOUN, please make sure you recheck those streets before commiting to a rental or purchase, especially if you're doing it long distance. It simply isn't safe on or directly around Cannon.

Hopefully you typed that wrong.
I wouldn't go past CANNON. I did have friends who lived past it but they didn't walk and it wasn't safe. If you are BELOW Cannon you should be fine. In my opinion.

There are some nice places right on the other side. I used to live on Charlotte St. which was great. However, as a general guideline, Calhoun St. would be my suggestion. I agree, stay away from Cannon St.
