Two new businesses are opening up along Washington St. on the East End. One will sell costumes, while the other is an organic food market. These two, along with many others are combining to make the nationally reconized East End of Charleston a good place to eat, shop, and live.

Its remarkable how much the East End of town has changed in... well even just the past 5 years.

Still doesn't have a grocery store That seems to be the topic that will make any "Eastender" raise cain.

It has changed alot, but I could still see alot of improvement, like in the old subway building, in the big empty lot across from the car dealership, and near and around the Clay Center.
