Default The new Highland Hospital Complex is set to open

Now that the four story Highland Hospital Building in Kanawha City is complete, hopefully construction can continue on the Sheetz across the street!!! LOL

but seriously, this is a good addition to the already great healthcare we have here in Charleston!

Highland Hospital

That wasn't really necessary was it?

Highland Hospital
When is Sheetz scheduled to open? That's what we really want to know.

They started construction about the same time Highland did. A year or so later we have a four story building for highland, but no gas station. they haven't even built a foundation yet, just a bunch of dirt has been moved around. I think they are waiting until the new Sheetz in Scott Depot is done and then they will move construction to Kanawha city.

Probably so. I was 1/2 joking about the relative importance of Sheetz vs. a hospital, but it truth Sheetz is a pretty good place to get a sandwich when you're traveling and don't have much time to spare.

It was obviously in jest, Tim.

I read in the paper where that same organization is going to open a 150 bed hospital in Clarksburg. They seem to
really be in growth mode. We've needed something like that for some time as those services are sorely lacking
in our state, especially on the substance abuse side.
