I've been watching the progress all along. Ryan frequently posts updates and pictures to the Facebook group consisting of Kanawha Valley homebrewers. He probably knows more about beer than anybody you'll ever meet. I plan to have a beer there after work on Monday.
Those are some cool beer/ale names he came up with.
The first five beers to be poured will be an American pale ale named Marcellus Ale; an English best bitter dubbed the Wobbly; an American India pale ale called The Raj; a continental pale ale named the Taylor Blonde; and a Irish dry stout called The Big Ugly, after the town of that name in Lincoln County.

Those are clever names for beers. I'll definitely want to try some of those. Ryan's made beer at Bridge Brew Works before, so I have faith that the beer is good. The unknown for me is the food.
Good to know. I in Charleston on business, will be sure to check this place out. Surprising that this is the first brewpub in town, but won't be surprised to see more within a decade.
I got a notice about an hour ago that the Charleston Brewing Company is opening tomorrow. Five original beers will be offered as well as some from Bridge Brew Works.
Shoot, I missed it by one day. Maybe next time I am working down that way I can stop by for a drink.
