They have installed the signs that you have mentioned. I drive by there a few times a week and last week they had the signs ups. When was this video taken?
Oh ok that's great! I can't wait to see it then! Um the video was upload on Dec 12 2016. So a month ago I assume.
Why have there literally been no updates on the construction project for the transitional care facility that was supposed to be constructed on the campus of Thomas Memorial Hospital in partnership with Stonerise Healthcare? This was announced over a year ago. Has this fallen through? Gotta love the local media and how they stay on top of these developments or lack thereof.
Wasn't that the facility mentioned in the TIF proposal?
Not sure about that, but TIF was never part of the equation on this project. It was announced a year ago to the day, construction was supposed to start in Summer 2016 with a grand opening in late summer 2017. No mention of TIF that I'm aware of until apparently very recently. It just frustrates me how the media apparently doesn't find it newsworthy to follow-up on such projects.
There are a couple of large medical construction projects showing up for the Charleston area. Can anyone identify either of the following:
1] New construction of a 100+ bed Senior Living facility valued at $5-25 million updated 6/7/17 and in the active planning phase.
2] New construction of a 100+ bed Senior Living facility valued at $38.6 million updated 6/7/17 and in the active planning phase.
Could one of these be the Thomas Memorial Hospital/Stonerise Health transitional care facility that had been slated for construction next to Thomas? That project has literally fallen off the map. Nothing that I am aware of has been reported since it was announced in February 2016.
Stonerise Healthcare owns East Brook Nursing Home on Chesterfield Ave. They are currently expanding and renovating it. That might be one of the projects mentioned.
