I believe this link was posted a while back but I'll repost it.

Construction cameras are able to be viewed via the Civic Center's website. In addition to a neat time lapse video, you can click the arrows through each picture taken every half hour.

I'm nervous about a hotel announcement.....why hasn't anything come to fruition? If they wanted to open both at the same time they missed the boat........the convention center should be ready in less than a year

Default Aerial views

The Civic Center says they'll be posting a new aerial photo of the construction progress everyday this week. The first one from Monday provides a unique view of the progress on the new event space over the Elk River.

Two excellent drone videos posted today show the Civic Center's progress.

Was at the Little Theater tonight and it is a mess in that part. Coming from the mall side, it was like going through one of those corn maze things.

It looks like they are putting up walls in the old entry ways but I couldn't tell for sure with all the stuff going on. I was told last March that the former lobby would be a reception area and we could still access the playing area through there but it sure didn't look like it tonight.

Hope they make a whole bunch of progress before March. Absolutely, Nuts!

How will they ever get enough additional business to cover this cost?

Every time we drive by on the Interstate, it looks like they are getting ready to install a diving board over the Elk River. I wonder what that feature is really going to be.

From the sketches on their website, it looks like an observation deck above the river, next to the outdoor seating/park area.

Although...a diving board would be fun.

When I drove by the Charleston Civic Center yesterday I noticed some new exterior colors are up on the building. I'm not sure if these will be the final colors or just primer at this point but it looked like some parts are a charcoal color and others are close to a battleship gray. To be honest, if these are the final colors, they don't look that bad. Much better than what was up on the building before.
