Can somebody more tech savy than I post a google map or something of the entire Civic Center, Sears, Fifth Qtr, Beni Kedim etc area map to see what were talking about. It would be much easier to visualize if we had well.....a visual. Thanks.

The Civic Center now has two large digital billboards to advertise their events and welcome people into the city. One was placed on the Quarrier Street garage, while the other one replaced the existing sign on Lee Street. Both are functional.

Still no word on Beni Kedem moving? It would be nice to have that whole block.

I haven't heard anything. I'd hope so, because I am of the opinion that the Fifth Quarter property alone is simply not big enough for any hotel of significance.

The new signs/billboards at the Civic Center look good.

They have started to add siding to the new expanded entrance on Clendenin Street. The metallic look features different tones of gray, with some of the panels having wooden accents. The design is beautiful, and will surely enhance the perception of the Civic Center. Also the new entrance interior is coming along quite nicely. They have added a hallway that connects to the main entrance and you can actually walk through the new addition.

I will add some pictures when more siding is added on the other side of the expansion.
