Default major companies

Are there any major companies in the Union County area? I am relocating next spring and are in the IT field. I've been told all companies are in uptown charlotte. Is this true?

Tyco is in Union.

They make fire systems and a bunch of other stuff. My friend used to work in the IT field for them.

You may want to look at Allvac, Aerospace Metals, Materials & High Performance Metals from Allvac or Yale Norton. There is also a company called ConMet.

Allvac has a very large IT dept which may work out well for you.

Good Luck
