A friend of mine is looking for a reception hall, possibly in Concord for a 25th wedding anniversary party. She is interested in supplying her own food and drinks, but is having a hard time finding a place that will allow her to bring her own food/drinks. Everyone she has contacted is requiring that she hires their preferred caterer. Can anyone please give me any suggestions.

A lot of neighborhoods/swim clubs have large rooms and halls you can rent out. You didn't mention how many people she needed to accomodate. Check out some of the larger neighborhoods in the area.

You're right..she's planning on having about 200 guests. I guess since it's a large amount of people, she would need a big place. She has a community center in her community, but it won't hold that many people. She rather stay in Concord or at least close to it.

I went to the Grand Opening
of Vintage Motor Club in Concord
and it was a very cool banquet facility
made from an old converted mill building.
Vintage Motor Club
Their website shows preferred caterers, but also
says they can approve a caterer before the event.
I would contact them and tell them you want to do
your own and rent the facility. Good luck!!

I am looking for a club house or banquet hall that don't charge me so much to rent the place. It's for my son graduation from high school. We are supplying our own food, dj. We catering to 70-80 people total. Any suggestions would help.
