Default Requesting Moving Company Recommendations from NJ to Charlotte, NC

Hello,

I am relocating with my family from Northern NJ to Charlotte and am looking for great moving company recommendations. We are moving from a 5 Bedroom home with lots of stuff.

I am interested in hearing from other families who have moved from NJ in terms of moving company recommendations and key things to consider.

Many, many thanks!

Whatever you do, stay away from "A Christian Touch" movers. I scheduled them for my move this past Saturday, and they simply never showed up. I called repeatedly because I had my truck rented, and they never returned my calls. I tried again today (wanted to give them a chance to explain) and still nothing! I don't understand, but just stay away. I heard good things about Duke Moving Company and Ballantyne and Beyond Moving company, but never had any personal experience with them. Good luck!

We have used Hilldrup United Van Lines twice and have been very happy with them both times:

We moved from NJ to NC 3 yrs ago by way of Pods. Hassle that was. We are now moving out of NC to FL and I interviewed 5 moving companies and Mayflower won out. They gave us a guaranteed price no matter how much our stuff actually weighed. And they came in $2500. less then everyone else.

Good Luck
