Hi all - so I'm looking to move to uptown Charlotte (or nearby) for a new job, and I need some apartment complex recommendations. In my 20s, I'm young and want to have fun. I want an apartment complex that's going to make me feel like I'm back in the dorms again, so LOUD music and people, pool parties, drinking, and parties are all pluses. I want to be surrounded by fun, social people in their 20s and 30s who want to have fun. I want to feel like I'm back in college.
Does anyone have any recommendations, based on personal experiences or things they've heard? I'm open to uptown and nearby areas like South End. I've heard the Camden and Post communities tend to be filled with young people. Also, others like Catalyst seem to offer what I'm looking for.

Thanks so much for the advice! Stay cool out there. This triple digit heat is awful!

City View Towers.
Are there any Uptown apartments that offer the opposite?

I figure anything from about New Bern station up the Blue Line to Uptown would be perfect.

Look at apartments and rented condos or *within* 277 in uptown. West Trade street near the Chef's college comes to mind right away. But any tower in uptown is going to be within a few blocks of people and activity on Fri/Sat night.

Default Wesley Heights/Village?

Hi OP

I have a friend in their mid twenties that lives in a complex off Morehead/freedom dr. It has a pool, they have parties and a very young party atmosphere very close to downtown. It think it's Wesley Heights or Wesley Village. Something like that. But it's exactly what you describe. Good luck to you!

Seems like South End might be a better fit for you than Uptown.
