Well I am new to the area and want to know where the best, cheapest places to play golf are. I looked online and found a few. There is one about 8 miles from my house. It's the Moorseville Municipal or something like that. It looks pretty good from what I read about it.

I'm not looking for anything private. I work out of town and am not able to go enough to justify the cost of joining.

The easy "feel good" course around here is Rolling Hills in Salisbury. The back 9 is a joke.

The best semi-private course around this immediate area imo is Warrior in China Grove. Welcome

dont go to rolling hills. that is a dog track and alot of the par 4s are not 300 yards long. Mooresville Municipal is not bad but it gets alot of play and they allow walkers on the weekends which means expect 5 hour rounds. As mentioned earlier, i highly recommenend the Warrior in China Grove. I also recommend Fox Den which is just up interstate 77 from you. The best public course near Mooresville is Verdict Ridge in Denver.

Fox Den is no joke. Always looks great too.

Yes, rolling is really easy.

I usually use Golf Course Discounts at over 300 Golf Courses - Clickitgolf.com or EZLinks.com - Online Tee Times Made EZ to find good deals around the area.
