Does anyone know of a large sunflower field in the Charlotte area? It's almost time for them to be in bloom...
Thanks!

Can you buy some of the flowers? I would love to have fresh cut flowers in my home on a regular basis. Next year I will plant some.

There's a farm house on Old Providence Road between Providence and Rea that has a huge field of sunflowers in full bloom. Makes me smile every time I see it.

Smile sunflowers

Sunflowers were my dad's favourite flowers. He passed away in 2007 at aged 68 from Parkinson's Disease.

In late March, early April, i planted some sunflower seeds and i have seen all 14 of them grow and grow.

I now have 2 that have come in to flower and i need them all to come in to flower by July 26th which is the day my father died.

They are such beautiful flowers.

Hope you find one. Where we used to live, someone planted two fields on either side of the road, as far as the eye could see, in sunflowers. He never did it again after that. I'll never forget it. It's so neat the way they all face the same way.

A guy use to have a huge sunflower field on Hwy 557 just past the River Rat in Lake Wylie. It is cool to watch them follow the sun as it rises and sets ... we have 10 about to bloom ... not really a field. LOL
