There is usually only a tiny amount of space reserved for Tabasco, while there is a large, fully stocked display of Texas Pete right next to it.
Oh, OK. I was confused because when I am in Ingles they have multiple Tabasco products as does the Lowes Foods in Gastonia. (never out of stock)

Thanks and I will check them out. One thing about NE fried clams is they are extremely fresh which makes a big difference in taste when they are dredged through the batter right before they are deep fried. But as I hear told you get what you get and you don't throw a fit LOL

I miss a couple dozen steamers dipped in butter, and also a good fried haddock sandwich--on a good roll. Bread sucks here in NC.

Favorite items from Pittsburgh:
1) Mancini's Bread which I used to get fresh at 1am and eat the entire inside of it right on the sidewalk.
2) Capi sandwich from Primanti Brothers (of course made with Mancini's bread)
3) Osso bucco, stuffed peppers, and meatballs from Joseph Tambellini's
4) Pennsylvania Macaroni Company

I miss a Chicken Kitchen (Miami, FL) type restaurant. It is a place that serves essentially chicken over rice with a bunch of toppings you can get on top. I haven't been able to find a similar place.

Grocerywise I miss being able to get Fiorella's Jack Stack Seasoning. It is a seasoning rub from a restaurant of the same name in Kansas City, MO. The stuff was magic.
