Oh my - I need to just take some time and drive around the area . . . things have grown so much since my sister first moved there 20 years ago! Now she is in Mooresville and I typically do not get off at the H'ville exits these days.

I still think about moving to H'ville or M'ville since my family is up that way, but I feel so settled in S. CLT . . . just a hassle to have to move - but your pictures do make me think about it . . .

Thank you, Sunny!

Sunny, great timing on your part to bring this old thread back to the top. We will be moving to this area in early June and will be making a very serious house hunting trip in 2 weeks. It is nice to see some pics of areas and neighborhoods we didn't see on previous visits. We are concentrating our search on Northstone and Birkdale, but some of your photos have me thinking about maybe expanding our search a little.

If you ever get the chance to ride along Huntersville Concord road you cannot miss the Metrolina Greenhouse it is huge. They supply the plants for Lowes Hardware and other distributors.

I already inquired it is not open to the public but the day I was taking photos I saw a tour bus pull in the lot. I personally would want a private tour and be able to purchase on the spot.

The photos does not do this place justice as far as how large it is. It literally is bigger than the eye can see.
