We are looking for a townhouse in the Balllantyne (South Charlotte) area, 3B /2.5Ba for around $2,000. We have 2 boys & will be relocating from MA within the next 6-12 months. Decided to rent before buying to get a feel for the city. Schools are priority, any feed back on Public vs Private.

We are looking into Countryside Montessori School any feedback would be Awesome..

Thank you.

There are a few listed on the MLS that would work for you -- some single family houses as well.

You should have your pick of the litter in that price range!

Countryside Montessori is a great school but it is a long way from Ballantyne. You could rent in the Mallard Creek, Concord, or Huntersville area and be much closer. The public schools in south Charlotte are very good, however - but do not employ a Montessori approach. I believe there is a Montessori school somewhere in Waxhaw or Weddington.
