I've had roaches since I bought my home ten years ago. I might see 10-20 a year, but where there's one, there's many more hidden away, so it is said. This year I tried the Ortho Max bug barrier spray, and I've seen only two roaches so far. I think one of those flew in when I opened the back door. I've seen a marked decrease in slugs, spiders and other creepy crawlies too. The $7 and hour I spent applying it has been worth it, IMHO.
Gross. We've had an exterminator since we first bought our house, and I've never seen a roach. That over the counter stuff doesn't work.
Ugh. I lived in a great apt in S. Charlotte for two years and was quite happy there, until some apparently dirty people moved in next door. Suddenly I had a horrible roach problem. The only thing that fixed it was moving. You have my deepest sympathies.

Apparently you missed the part where I said the stuff does work, at least for me. It's not as effective as an exterminator would be, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper! A shot of it above the bird feeders stopped the ants from invading as well.

No, I didn't miss the part where you said you still see roaches. That means it doesn't work. That's disgusting and filthy.
