My family may be relocating from Atlanta to Charlotte. We have to school aged boys (7 and 5) and the schools are very important to us. It looks like several Mecklenburg high schools score really well (Providence, David W Butler, N. Mecklenburg) on state tests, PSAT, SAT, and rank very high on the Newsweek ranking system. The Cabarrus County high schools score well below those I mentioned and do not even appear on the top 1400 high schools.
After doing a bit of searching on this site, it seems most people prefer Cabarrus...why? Am I missing something?
We would also want a 3-4 bedroom home in the $250-275,000 price range.
