They're a lot better than Olive Garden.

That's true but they're also overpriced for marginally better food.

No argument there...but if I was going to go out for over-priced mediocre Italian food, I'd pick Maggiano's over Olive Garden.

So many great restaurants in Southpark. I hate going to the chains.

Exactly!

We're going to Zebra for the first time this weekend.

Are there that many non-chains in Southpark? Maybe I don't know the whole area but there seem to be more chains than non-chains.

Bricktops
Basically everything at the mall
Ruth Chris
Brixx
Upstream
OPH
Harpers
The Palm

and too many others to mention.

I agree. Plus you can go next door to the Cheescake Factory for dessert.

Upstream is a chain? News to me. The Harpers Group that owns it and Harpers and a few others in town is hardly a chain!

I guess Upstream and M5 are bad examples.

Not trying to ignite a chain vs. local debate but I am just wondering how many local ones there are around Southpark. If you take out Harper's Group that still leaves a ton of chain restaurants. I prefer local ones myself.
