#1 - Zink American Kitchen. Used to be uptown, now has been moved to SouthPark Mall where M5 used to be. Their meatloaf is about $20. I thought to myself one night when going there for dinner - "how can meatloaf possibly be so good that they can charge $20 for it?" So, I had to give in and try it. After trying it, I can honestly say that it's worth the $20. I'd pay $20 for it again - it's that good.

#2 - Lupie's. I love love LOVE this place. I have never even had a mediocre meal here - always has been excellent, and I usually leave in a food coma. Great meatloaf (only on Mondays!), chicken and dumplings (Tuesday I think), chili, chili/spaghetti, chili burgers, and banana pudding. Not to mention any of the homemade sides.

Cracker Barrel was the first place I thought of also, but I was embarrassed to bring it up -- not very chic. I love their meatloaf. Also Georgio's in Cramerton on Thusdays.

Rockbottom has very good meatloaf. HOPS also has good meatloaf. I can't wait to try some of these other suggestions, plus the chicken and dumplins!

My favorite style of meatloaf is the grilled with brown gravy, not the tomato heavy kind--just an FYI for why I like my suggestions.
