I am just wondering if anyone in Charlotte would hire a person to shop with them, teach them (the real) healthy ways to cook, eco friendly ways to live and provide food / health resources the FDA really does not like to share?

Would anyone do this?

Honestly? I think the market for this service would be VERY limited/niche.

The people that can afford that service would be the people that would hire someone to cook for them - not teach them how to cook.

Has anyone who responded to this post paid for Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers or a similar program?

Since it's against the terms of service to come on here & try to drum up business, I gave your first post the benefit of the doubt. This post makes me wonder.

To answer your initial question. I have helped several people, free of charge, who were given particularly difficult medical diets. I am not licensed or certified, I just helped them sort through what they could & couldn't eat & how to fix it.

There might be people who have been given difficult medical diets who would pay to have a lisenced, certified person assist them. but there is a recession, & most people have cut back & don't have money to spend if they don't have to.

No, especially not from someone who doesn't have a degree in nutrition or related field. Most people who live a whole foods lifestyle will research and shop for themselves.

If you are serious about it, head back to school for nutrition, nutrition therapy, or something related. Your blog is full of food untruths, diet gimmicks, unappetizing photos, and typos/misspelled words, so if you want to be taken seriously, working on that should be a top priority as well.

@southbound_295 I am not trying to drum up business, I have been wondering for a while if people would pay for something like this or not. SO I thought this would be the way to ask.

@coastalgirl I have been debating on doing a degree in nutrition and this probably is the only way people would take my advice seriously. I am not sure about what food untruths and diet gimmicks you are talking about. I will fix all the typos and misspellings for sure!

Thanks to everyone for your opinions and responses!

If you decide to go to school for nutrition, I'm sure you'll find out.
