Looking for a friendly fun dance school for our daughter age 5. Did check out Davidson Dance, but was wondering if anyone has experience with that school, or any others around the Huntersville, Cornelius area. Any help would be appreciated.

Rince Na h'Eireann - don't worry about pronouncing it - has an Irish dance class at Jordin's Studio in Huntersville. Their website is Rince na h'Eireann School of Irish Dance My son dances with them there and at their south Charlotte studio.

Personally, I recommend Dance Davidson because they teach proper form and take care that the children do not sustain unnecessary injuries/sprains from poor technique. And the classes/teachers are phenomenal.

If you want something less structured, more "fun," you could check out Dancin' Kids in Cornelius.

Blue D...
My girlfriend owns Jordin's and they have great classes both for kids and adults and probably will be less pricey than Dance Davidson. However, if you have an idea that your little one is going to be a professional dancer when she grows up...then you may want to spend the money on DD.
Hope you are well.
Kathy

There's a Donna's school of dance off of exit 18 or the Harris Blvd exit of 485.... at the corner of Mt. Holly Huntersville Road and Beatties Ford Road...
looks like they do some ballet there... not sure what else.
Welcome to Miss Donna's School of Dance - Charlotte, NC

Cool Dance Davidson

I taught classical ballet at Dance Davidson many years ago and it was a very good school. The owner (Terrilynne) is super nice and a fantastic teacher.

The school still has a very good reputation.
