My husband is looking to hire an entry level (1-2 years experience)candidate for an IT position in Charlotte. He is not having any luck with his interview candidates so I figured I would check on here and see if anyone knew of someone looking for a job. The position is a local organization and I can tell you more if you PM me! If you have more questions I will try to answer them!!

Wow - just what we all hope to see -an actual job opening! Very kind of you to post it here, Ulapp. So since no one has responded, I wanted to keep it active on the front page. I hope one of the many qualified folks out there will take you up on your very generous offer to give more info.
This is what has to happen - people getting back to work - one job at a time!
It would probably help to list the type of IT job requested. IT encompasses, even entry level, a very wide range of jobs and skills.
Truly
Is this position based on mainframe, UNIX, AS400 or server-based processing? Will networking duties be involved? How about print room - will they be expected to print and deliver reports? How about the schedule? 24/7/365, as many data centers operate? Will programming experience/skills be necessary?
I don't think CD allows "Help Wanted" ads to be posted, but a little detail might provide better response.
The OP mentioned to PM them for more information. The TOS does mention that ads aren't allowed but given the general nature of post I would argue that this doesn't qualify.
As much as people complain that there are no jobs around, you'd think someone trying to hire would get cut some slack.
Thank you for the posting ulaap. I just sent you a direct message.
