Matthews or Indian Trail NC (Charlotte, Kings Mountain: insurance, homes, wedding)

Hello,

Can anyone recommend some nice subdivisions in Matthews or Indian Trail, NC? We would like homes priced no higher than $225k. Thank you!

For 225K in Indian Trail you should look in Brandon Oaks and Holy Park.
Bonterra has 7 nice spec homes in Taylor Glenn but I think you are looking at around 240k - 260k range. You can always negotiate on spec homes though as builders are paying utilities, insurance, HOA....etc.

Sorry, for the money you can do a lot better than Holly Park. Brandon Oaks does have some nice sections though

I like Brightmoor and Willowmere in that price range.

I second Brandon Oaks - lots to choose from and excellent amenities - also pretty close in for commute to Charlotte.

FYI the city of Matthews is in Mecklenburg county.

There are some sections of Matthews (aka Stallings,Weddington) that have a Matthews address but are actually located in Union County. These have zip code 28104.

They have a Matthews address because of the postal system but they are not in the city of Matthews. The town is entirely in Mecklenburg county. OP: Since you are looking to be outside of Mecklenburg only search the areas Mom of 3 girls mentioned above.

Someone who is from some where else may not realize that just because a home may have a Matthews mailing address does not mean that it is located in the city of Matthews or Mecklenburg county.

And to the OP - it really depends if you would like a community with or without a HOA, or not in a community at all. There are a lot of options out there.

Yes exactly! This is something that really confuses newcomers. There are towns that do cross county borders. Kings Mountain is one example, part is in Gaston county and part is in Cleveland county. Matthews does not. There are not "sections" of Matthews in Union County (aka Stallings,Weddington).
