I wish him well too and wonder if he'll leave Charlotte now.

I hope not, loves. He may not be the perfect angel boy of a meteorologist, but he's been honest about his mistakes. I hope he hasn't taken a backslide. I hope he doesn't go to News 14....he wouldn't be allowed to have a personality. They should fire a certain noon meteorologist from Channel 9 and let Mark take his place!

I saw this on the Observer online, and someone in the comments said he was at the Blumenthal this weekend at some show and was in the front row very loudly criticizing the actors or something. Someone from Management @ Fox Charlotte caught wind of it and fired him.

Again it was an comment that someone made so I don't know if it's true or not.

Perhaps I will replace him...HAH. It was fun to pretend though!
lol, I knew the dingy comment would ruffle someone.....

I'm sorry if she reminds me of Vera from Mel's Diner....

Maybe she seems like a dingbat because for some reason they are either teaching or instructing female news personalities to yell the news at the top of their voice which is bad enough, but they want them to use a somewhat valley girlish annunciation. i.e. pitch too high and in the wrong places. The difference is immediately noticeable if you watch a broadcast from a decade or more back. It's especially annoying and why I rather listen to someone run a power saw.

I would only watch to just see how crazy he was that day...always wondered if he would be on or off his "meds"

When he 1st moved back to the area hubby and I pulled up old you tube videos to see how crazy his antics were! He is amusing but almost too distracting.

I hate to hear it but I really liked the zany character of his previous incarnation much better than his latest. I always had to tune in to see what crazy stunt he was going to pull. I bet their ratings dropped when he "got sober" and they just didn't ever return this time. Love you Mark & good luck!!
