Has anyone seen this before, it's coming to blumenthal later in July.

Was it any good. Do you think it would be too scary for a 6 year old girl?

Thanks for the feedback.

I saw it on Broadway and, quite frankly, it was just about the greatest theater experience of my life (that and being able to see the Nathan Lane/Matthew Broderick duo). There's as much heart to it as spectacle and believe me...this thing oozes spectacle from the stage to the back of the theater. There's absolutely nothing scary about it for any child of any age. It stays very true to the movie and, if anything, the movie might've been a bit scarier for a child than this. I could call it "spectacular", "magnificent", any other positive adjective I could find, string them together and still couldn't adequately describe that production.

I cannot recommend it highly enough for you or your six year old.

I saw it the last time it was in Charlotte and I currently have tickets for August. It is amazing and not at all scary. You will all be blown away. Well worth the money.

I purchased tickets earlier today. Tickets are going fast. Most of the dates only have tickets for single seats. If you're interested in going you better buy now.

Thanks for the great feedback. I think we might splurge.

I saw the Phantom of the Opera in Torontao in the 90's and Cat's in London in 99. This show sounds phenomonial.
