Hi all,

Has anyone used Race City Resumes or know someone who has had success w/ them in finding a post w/ a NASCAR team? My husband is a pilot and has a great international job, but he would really like a job in NC with a NASCAR team or a corporation. Thanks in advance for any info.!

Good LUck, my dh did try them and what a joke. No leads whatsoever unless you know someone in the field or have your foot in the door somewhere. We sent them our resume, pd the cheapest fee they had and never heard another word from them and that was a year ago. My dh has been an auto mechanic for 15 years and manager for 6 years, thought that would be enough experience to get in but wasn't according to RCR. But you may have better luck.

I can second that! My hubby happens to work for one of the race schools that trains NASCAR mechanics, and it is a very, very, very small community. Sort of like someone saying, I'd like to work for the Panthers. Very limited number of jobs that are vied for by lots of people. Not easy to break in at all. I think it's largely a fantasy by many people...

Thumbs down pitiful

My husband got yank for $300 to sign up for their "lowest" plan... they took the money, my husband contacted them, they did not respond back. Now, 6+ months later, NEVER heard a word from them except once shortly after my husband gave the money, when he was told that he needed to be patient. SCAM and rather pitiful organization.

Nina, please PM me. I have some insight on this and know several pilots who work for Nascar teams.
