Hi everyone, I'm hoping that (once again) you guys will be full of awesome suggestions. My husband recently ordered a really nice new suit from an online retailer, but it needs to be altered (taken in, hemmed, sleeves shortened, etc).

I searched this forum, but it seemed all the recommendations were for tailors in Ballantyne, Pineville, Concord, and Huntersville. We live in Cotswold, so anything near South Park, Uptown, South End, Dilworth, etc., would be most convenient for us.

We tried Mike's Alterations on Sharon Amity Road (across from Cotswold Village Shops) and had a bad experience, so please don't recommend them.

My backup plan is Anna's on Pineville-Matthews Rd, but I'm really hoping to get a suggestion for someplace closer to us. Thanks!

I would try Jos. A Bank in South Park. I usually buy my suits from them and they all usually need to be altered slightly, which they do there as well. They do an excellent job and I don't think their tailor only does work on their own clothes, so you may want to give them a call. They are in that little strip mall near the intersection of Sharon Rd and Colony Rd (by the Harris Teeter).

There's also a good tailor in Carolina Place on the second level.

Jos Banks is an idea -- we were going to head there anyway this weekend, so we might give them a try. Thanks!

Carolina Place is all the way down in Pineville, so it's not too convenient for us. We're looking for a place closer to South Park. But thanks anyway!
